We just took him into his vet appointment, and what happened was his drain tube was taken out leaving two small holes that now just need time to heal which will take a few days or so asnd then we were told we must keep it clean to keep out infection but he will be just fine. Chewie is still very small about 5 pounds and is still too small for the stairs so we still have to carry him out to go potty and such . Hes now starting to do the hop and starting to play again hes now starting to discover his balance with only 3 legs. Awaiting his akc paperwork. The girls are playing with him more daily and they take him around the house and give him much needed attention and affection. I dont believe he even notices that his little leg is gone . Hes making a healthy recovery. I will post more updates every couple of days as soon as I learn how to attach phots i will do so
